4G Mobile Latest Technology

Many of us that enjoy taking advantage of the latest communications technologies to become available on the public marketplace find it difficult to get such an inspiring and tantalizing technology as 4G mobile off our minds.  We simply have to know what the pulse of fourth generation mobile is at the moment: what the latest developments are, which new cities have been added to the map of next-generation network coverage, and so on and so forth.  Indeed it is necessary to take the pulse of fourth generation mobile technology fairly often because there is constant innovation in this field, as it is a technology that is still in its infancy and has a long and surely glorious future ahead of it. Currently, in 2010, the pulse of 4G mobile is quite a bit more impressive and dynamic than most observers would have expected it to be.  Considering that this is basically the first year in which large scale commercial deployments are being undertaken with fourth generation mobile services, the fact that several dozen local markets are already included on the 4G map is quite impressive, especially considering the speed with which new markets have been incorporated.  All indications point to the fact that by the end of this year there will be many dozen more local deployments of fourth generation networks, and by the end of the following year it is expected that the number of fourth generation enabled cities and communities will be counted by the hundreds, not by the dozens any longer.  An interesting development in this sense has been the relatively small though much larger than expected role of rural/remote markets with regards to new fourth generation mobile deployments.  Most people would automatically assume (with fairly sound reasoning) that only big urban and suburban areas would be brought on board, at least for the next year or more, and that rural/remote communities would only come during the later stages of fourth generation development.  Nonetheless, rural residents have proven to demonstrate a very high demand for such high performance wireless networks and providers seem to be heeding their call, with a handful of such remote locations forming part of the incipient 4G coverage map. Something that fourth generation users should be keeping a keen eye out for will be the steady advance in the capabilities of their mobile devices and the speeds which their network provides.  Though pretty much all fourth generation mobile users are astounded by the fact that they can get download speeds above 10 Mbps on their wireless network, this is still a far cry from the 100 Mbps which have been proven to be possible in lab tests.  Over the coming months and years, it will be necessary to continue taking the pulse of 4G services to see how much closer to that ideal point connections have actually gotten, though surely a year from now 100 Mbps will not be the peak boasted of by lab researchers, who will have likely passed the 200 or 300 Mbps mark by then.

Latest Technology Rugged Laptop

A laptop made for army must stay alive in intense environmental situations such as heavy rain, forceful heat, blowing dust, and lofty vibrations, while having a display that is viewable in the bright sun. Now as a regular inexpert person would give up if pushed into any strong duty, a normal consumer laptop would not give the stability to perform under difficult conditions.
The Laptop Construction:One of the major benefits between a customer laptop and a rugged model is the skill to stay alive a drop. Rugged laptops are tested and deliberate to survive falls of unreliable distances. Consumer laptops characteristic a plastic chassis, which is sufficient for mainstream use. Mainly rugged laptops trade despicable plastics for magnesium alloy, which offers a better weight-to-strength ratio.
The magnesium alloy is greatly lighter than titanium, and is one of the lightest and strongest metals on the planet. It can resists to solid dents and superior absorbs vibration than any plastic materials. Magnesium alloy is also dissipating the heat much superior than most metals. Rugged laptops also have a space between the base of the laptop and the system board, so, shocks and vibrations are engrossed by the outer enclosure and not the motherboard and the rest of components connected to it.
Classic Hard Disk Protection:
The mainly sensible component of any laptop is the hard disk. The hard disk is fragile because it contains receptive heads and moving parts. Most causes of a laptop total failure are the fail of hard disk itself, so, defending the hard disk is very significant for rugged laptops. Rugged laptops manufacturers use different methods to protect this perceptive component such as shock pads, rubber rails, gel or foam casing or hard drive accelerometers.
SSD Drives – No Moving Parts:
SSD (Solid State Drives) is a data storage device that uses solid-state memory to store constant data. An SSD emulates a hard disk drive interface, thus simply replacing it in most applications. The largest advantage of SSD is an elevated mechanical consistency, as the lack of stirring parts nearly eliminates the risk of “mechanical” failure. Still the disadvantages of the SSD may alter your mind when choosing a rugged laptop: SSDs now have a much slower write performance compared to their read performance and flash-memory drives have partial lifetimes and will frequently wear out after only some million cycles. Even so SSDs are presented as options on various rugged laptops.
Water Resistant Keyboard:
A water-resistant keyboard features a special covering to resist water, preventing the liquid from entering the laptop and hurtful the system board or some of the electrical components inside. More than this, a few rugged laptops characteristic inner water trays and drain holes, which help route any liquid that does supervise to enter the laptop away from the inner components and out the floor of the body.

The eco-friendly house is powered by solar cells and minature windmills, and comes with a kitchen, a composting toilet, a system for collecting rain water, one bed, a wood stove for CO2 neutral heating, a rear opening that forms a stairway entrance, and six legs. A collaborative effort between MIT and the Danish design collective N55, the house walks about five kilometers an hour similar to the walking speed of a human. The legs reguire a software algorithm to calculate the movement and position of the legs to provide stability over varying terrain. The house can turn, move forward or backwards, or change height as required and can be programmed with GPS way points for travelling to destinations. Wow, so I guess if you park your house one evening some where in Huntington, New York; The next morning when you wake up you’ll find your self in the China Town…!  Guess no need to buy a car or take a taxi, why would you…having a walking house.

Latest Technology Tissue regeneration

One of the future inventions in health care may be the development of a spray gun for regenerating skin tissue. The Armed Forces Institute of Regenerative Medicine (AFIRM), recently established by the U.S. Department of Defense, is funding research into the regrowth of bones, muscles, tendons, nerves and blood vessels. The University of Pittsburgh’s McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine will join a consortium of 30 institutes in regenerative research. Last year, a pathologist at the McGowan Institute regrew the severed fingertips of two patients in their mid sixties. Existing scar tissue was removed by an enzyme. Scarring inhibits regrowth, however cells derived from pig bladders can override the scarring process and attract cells and proteins needed for growth. Another researcher with Wayne Forest University, is developing an inkjet device with cartridges containing tissue cells with growth factors. The device would dispense layers of tissue onto deep flesh wounds for healing and regrowth. For surface wounds, a hand-held sprayer is in development, which sprays immature skin cells (called keratinocytes) onto the skin. Clinical trials with burn victims have been promising. The advantages of this technology compared to “grafting” is that it eliminates patchwork scarring and uses less skin. “Conventional methods cannot return people to the way they were before” says biochemist Alan Russell, but it’s within the grasp of science.

Latest Technology Needle Less Injection

This future invention is a device for delivering medication and vaccinations through the skin. As an alternative to injecting a needle, micro-poration is a painless method of transferring medication (intraepidermal) into the body using laser technology. A handheld laser creates micro pores in the epidermis of the skin for the transfer of molecules. It has a familiar comparison to the “needle-less” device used by Dr. “Bones” McCoy on Star Trek. The popular sci-fi series has inspired more than a few new inventions including the “laser” and the “Cell-Phone”. This new micro-poration technology is painless to use and requires no supervision to administer. The interfaced controls regulate the dosage.

Latest Technology Insect Robots

Advances in microelectronics is making yesterday’s science fiction into tomorrow’s future inventions. Scientists at the University of California have implanted beetles with miniaturized electronics that allows the insects to be controlled.Research presented at a conference in Italy demonstrated a new technology for creatiing “cyborg insects”.The flying beetles receive wireless signals from a mobile transmitter that controls the insect. Varying impulses trigger an appropriate response from the beetle so that it flys according to it’s handler. The insect can be made to take-off, land, hover, or follow a given flight path.Previous research concentrated on moths but giant flower beetles were easier to operate and could carry larger payloads because of their size.Further advances with nanobots and miniaturization will allow heat sensors and cameras to be embedded into the bugs. The insect could then be used for surveillance or search and rescue missions.

The Sample of Latest Technology

One look at these photos and you know this motorcycle is in the concept stage as I cannot remember seeing any of these on the road.
This is the SunRed solar-powered motorcycle that won the Best Innovative Technology award at the Barcelona Int’l Auto Show, this does look pretty cool and anything that is good to the environment and can be classed as gadget or latest technology is good in my books.

This SunRed project in the near future will result in a life-size prototype of the solar-powered motorcycle, the prototype will be able to store electrical power from captured sunlight and power the motorcycle in the most environmentally-friendly way.
The clamshell looking motorcycle is built that way to optimize the panel’s surface and to make the vehicle not too bulky. The SunRed solar-powered motorcycle is not moving it can store energy for up to 20km (13 miles) and travel at around 50km/h (30 mph).
Most modern electric bikes are designed in the same way as the motor on this solar-powered motorcycle; it is placed right in the axle of the wheel and brushless.
Now we got to remember this vehicle designed by SunRed is just a concept, but the company hopes that this will become a benchmark for future developments of solar applications in different vehicles.
